The FJ Cruiser.

The off-roader Toyota killed too soon.

I have owned this Fj for over 10 years now. Its been a long slow build that has gone through many changes along the way. Several roof racks, different tents, interior variations, various tire sizes. I am all for function over form. Sure, it would look great on big 35 inch tires, but that tire size on a Toyota is more for the guys who crawl rocks and don’t carry hundreds of pounds of bolt on parts like I do.

Conqueror UEV 490

I recently acquired this 2016 UEV 490 camper trailer to extend my seasons here in Colorado. I am testing how much I like dealing with a camper. I was in between building a truck, or sticking with a short wheelbase and having the option of taking the Alucab on the trips that will have hard routes and a trailer on the moderate trails. On treks that are moderate off-roading, the camper cant be beat. I do have to take the Alucab to tow, so I stay within the Fjs capabilities. Of course Natalia likes having a small couch to retreat to.
